In June 2014 Almeamari Legal Consultation and Services came into fruition and the practice was established under the leadership of Abdul Hameed Almeamari.
Abdul Hameed, legal counsel and founder of Almeamari Legal Consultation and Services, acquired almost 40 years of experience in various areas of the law; whereby Banking & Finance Law and Corporate Law encompassed the majority of his work output. As it is often the case, different branches of the law frequently intersect and overlap; therefore, it was necessary to permeate other spheres of the legal sector in unison. To name a few, Abdul Hameed garnered knowledge and expertise in; Real Estate and Construction Law, Labor Law, and Commercial Law.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1978 – 1990
Joined Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait on 17 January, 1991 and worked as a legal advisor in Credit Remedial Management for two years (1991 –1992).
Established Almeamari Legal Consultations and Services.
Admitted to the Bahraini Bar where work output consisted of all types of legal cases such as: civil, commercial, labor, maritime, insurance, criminal and matrimonial.
Practicing lawyer in Salah Ali Redha & Associates law firm for seven years.
Established own law firm and worked in association with Hassan Radhi & Associates law firm.
1991 – February 2002Joined Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait on 17 January, 1991 and worked as a legal advisor in Credit Remedial Management for two years (1991 –1992).
Joined the Legal Department as a legal counsel in 1993.
Promoted to the position of Head of Legal Department in 2000.
March 2002 – 31 May 2013Head of Legal Services; where responsibilities encompassed all legal matters (litigation and consultations) for Ahli United Bank Group in the Gulf region and Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Iran & Egypt).
Acted as Corporate Secretary of the board of directors of the bank and its holding company; as well as for some of its subsidiaries. Worked closely with the Compliance Unit. (Interpretation of rules and regulations of CBB and other GCC Central Banks).
In charge of merger and acquisitions and of strategic plans of the bank.
Position extended to Group Head of Legal services and Group Corporate Secretary.
Acted as former Director of the Bank of Kuwait & Middle East (currently Ahli United Bank – Kuwait ) and member of Executive Committee and Audit Committee, representing Ahli United Bank.
June 2014 +Established Almeamari Legal Consultations and Services.
